Writing the Historical Argument

Join the NYCWP for a full-day experiential workshop exploring the way that the historian constructs rigorous, evidence-based arguments. In this workshop, you will explore your relationship to the field of history, engage in critical readings, examine student work samples, immerse yourself in primary source documents and leave with ideas to help you begin to build a text-based, CCLS-aligned writing assignment for your students.
