The New York City Writing Project invites you to a weekend workshop with Youth Voices.
Youth Voices: Connected Learning
Join the New York City Writing Project for a morning in which we’ll show you how starting with students’ interests will help us meet the expectations of the Common Core Learning Standards.
We know what it’s like to be faced with new standards and multiple assessments. We also know the power of the Youth Voices curriculum and projects to engage all learners. In this workshop, we will introduce you to Youth Voices and help you provide your students with what they need to be successful in school while engaging in work that is meaningful.
Please join us for this hands-on experience that you will be able to use in your classroom.
Sunday, December 8, 2013 9:30am – 12:30pm Carman Hall — Room 124 New York City Writing Project Institute for Literacy Studies, Lehman College, CUNY 250 Bedford Park Boulevard West Bronx, NY 10468 718-960-8758
