We have an exciting year planned at the NYCWP! Join us for upcoming events.

Election Day, Tuesday, November 6, 2018 we’ll offer:

Writing Across the Curriculum: Students at the Center

This workshop will kick off a series of four workshops over the fall and winter that will dive into Writing Project theory and practice.

CTLE credit is awarded for all workshop participation.
Eventbrite - NYCWP Election Day Professional Learning Workshop: Writing Across the Curriculum with Students at the Center

The thoughts and ideas of first year teacher, David Garcia, are heard and appreciated.

November 9, 2018, 5pm-8pm: we’ll host a Mini-Writing Marathon at Teens Take the Met!

Students (ages 13-18) “take over” the Met and participate in teen-only activities across the Museum including art making, performances, music, and more.
